The new El 1851 by El sound will take the market by storm with its superb quality coupled with its very reasonable price. It uses heavy duty cast aluminum frame for increased rigidity. The cones, spider and cone surrounds are from Usonic of Malaysia and the Voice coil from Eton which are renowned for their top notch quality materials . High quality Interleaved Sandwich Voice Coil (inside outside voice coil) ensures it can handle abuse and guarantees long term use.

Designed specifically to provide powerful and accurate bass frequencies with minimal distortion and power compression. The El 1851 is the optimum choice for top of the range sub bass systems where the ability to take punishment in the most demanding applications is the ultimate selection criterion.
Appropriate for applications as diverse as scoop bins, conventional reflex cabinets and horn loaded systems.
